Keeneland:

Solid opening day of races in this 5 day meet at Keeneland. Had 3 picks in each of the 9 races, 1 pick was scratched. Ended the day +7 units with some winners and exotics hitting.

Hit the money regularly today after a hot start in races 1-3. Had the winner in our picks for 5 of the 9 races and 16 of our 26 picks were In The Money. Hit trifectas in two of opening 3 races and had 7 of our first 9 picks ITM with 2 winners. Track ran fast today and should tomorrow if the rain holds up again, only one short shower occurred today. 

KEE-PICKS WIN% 5/9 55.6 %

Churchill Downs:

Took me a minute to get my feet wet into Churchill meet as I was learning handicapping on the go. As I began writing up my picks, these are the results over the course of that 40 race sample. End of the meet/couple weekends of handicapping came through, we will always take profit.

Ellis Park:

Rougher holiday weekend but had a bumpy start to Thursday’s races on 7/2. Every race was on the dirt (all turf was moved to dirt) which frankly tripped me up a bit. Sometimes gotta admit when a game, race or play baffles you and Thursdays shift in tracks definitely threw me off. I stopped betting after a rough 4 or 5 races and results of -2.5 units for Thursday.  We recovered a bit better into a partial card on the holiday Saturday and almost full card Sunday, closing out with some winners.
