Saratoga Recap and Results Thursday 7/16

Up and down day but still hit money on half our picks. Always going to give the honest recap of our picks, good or bad. Today was a day where one race swing was difference between solid Win % and ITM % and ordinary percentages.

Would’ve liked more winners but there were a few long shots crashing the party and even got nosed in a photo finish on a winner in race 7 with ASTORIA KITTEN getting beat out after a near wire to wire run. Right on the cusp of a really solid day and races like that were a great example right there. We cashed some winners in races 9 and 10 to close out the day.

Very disappointing run from DARK MONEY today and our other “likely money” play, LEADING WEST was part of the inquiry and action that caused the decision to be overturned in race 2. Both of our “Live Longshots” finished just outside the money in 4th place after promising runs and leading the pace early in their respective races. We get back at it tomorrow at Saratoga once again.
